Heterogeneity of the Noachian Crust of Mars Using CRISM Multispectral Mapping Data

Abstract We used Compact Reconnaissance Imaging Spectrometer for Mars (CRISM) multispectral mapping data to assess heterogeneity of primary and secondary mineral compositions Noachian‐aged regions Martian crust. The revealed structure mineralogy consistent with that inferred previous studies. Controls on extent metamorphic assemblages proximity heat sources including impact basins magmatic bodies.
